About MemberSplit

MemberSplit helps people who already split the cost of a shared subscription do it automatically, instead of chasing each other for money every month.

MemberSplit is invite-only — there's no public directory or marketplace of groups to join. Organizers invite specific people they already know and already share the subscription with; we don't match strangers together to fill unused seats on someone else's account.

Why we built this

Group plans, family plans, and shared accounts save money — but somebody always ends up being the one who pays the bill and then has to track down everyone else's share. MemberSplit handles that part: the organizer keeps paying for the subscription the way they always have, and MemberSplit collects each person's share automatically every month and sends it to the organizer.

How it works

• Organizers start a group for something they already pay for — a streaming plan, a cloud storage plan, anything with a recurring cost — and invite the people they split it with.
• Members link a bank account or card once, and their share is charged automatically every month. Their first month joining, MemberSplit's platform fee is waived for them.
• MemberSplit charges a flat $3/month platform fee per group, split evenly across everyone in the group, organizer included.
